A few months ago, the internet was introduced to Timothy - better known online as ‘Amish Dude’.

Timothy is exactly what he sounds like: a regular Amish who found himself suddenly sharing a window into Amish life on Rumspringa with the world. Rumspringa is a period when Amish youth are allowed to explore the modern world before deciding whether or not to join the church and remain Amish.

After seeing Timothy’s now-viral appearance on the This Past Weekend with Theo Von, we became fascinated with his perspective of an individual experiencing our modern world for the first time - phones, cities, podcasts. 

We reached out and sent Timothy a few pieces of WESN gear to try out on the farm and stayed in touch...
